This was Susanna's first smile that was captured in a photo. It's a little elusive and usually follows nursing or passing gas, so congrats to Nana for documenting it!

Uncle Matt and Aunt Carrie

We had a visit frim Uncle Matt and Aunt Carrie the weekend before last. What a fun weekend it was! Beautiful weather and plenty of outdoor play. We even watched Uncle Matt try out his new triathlon wetsuit in our COLD lake.

New England Aquarium

We all had a trip to Boston today to go to the aquarium. My favorite animals were the sharks!

More spring!

On Earth Day we planted seeds for our vegetable garden this year. What a beautiful warm day it was in New Hampshire.


After my cousin Alice visited, I decided that her haircut was so cute and easy that I wanted the same one!

My first "independent preschooler" swim class, which means that Mom can sit with Susanna OUT of the water while I swim with the teacher!

Spring visitors

Dad, Mom, Susanna, and I are all doing very well. A new baby has brought lots of spring visitors to our house! Nana and Grandy, Nanny and Papa, and Aunt Katherine, Patrick, and Alice. What a great time it's been!

Oh Susanna!

I have a new baby sister!! Susanna Eve Tilley. She was born on April 11th and weighed 6 lb, 4 oz. She came home from the hospital the day after she was born and we have all been doing very well at home since then. I've had both sets of grandparents come to visit and have had a blast playing with them this week!

Spring!

Spring has come early to New Hampshire this year. I even wore shorts one day in March! We've done a lot more playing outside the past couple of weeks than we did in the winter. Easter egg hunts, painting, hikes, visiting with friends, and playing in the rain (in my hazmat "rain suit" given to me from my Canadian friends).

First time downhill skiing!

I have gone downhill skiing 5 of the last 8 days! I even went night skiing one of those days after dad got home from work. For the first couple of days I borrowed my friend Clark's skis. I had so much fun that I decided to buy my own skis and boots. Don't worry grandparents, I bought a helmet too. I always go with mom or dad, and usually one of my friends goes with me. So far I've gone with Clark, Cameron, Olivia, and Brayden. This sliding down snow is something I could get used to!

Vacation to North Conway!

Mom, Dad, and I decided to get out of town for the weekend, so we headed north to the White Mountains. We stayed in North Conway for two nights at the Eastern Slope Inn. We had a full weekend of skiing, swimming in a warm pool, sleigh riding, hiking, and ice-skating (with my snow boots) on Echo Lake. Ahhhhh, is there anything better than family vacations?!

Cures for the Winter Blues

It has been cold the last month or so and without much snow. Despite these setbacks, I have enjoyed the winter so far. I've been swimming a bunch and even though I didn't do it for the video, I can swim all by myself! I also graduated to my big girl bed. I've been told it's over 60 years old, but it's still comfortable! Here's a video of me going to bed in it for the first time.

Holly Jolly Christmas!

Toys, candy, movies, skiing, sledding, and family! As you can see from this little video I produced, I had a wonderful Chistmas this year and I hope you did too! Thank you for all the presents!

Happy Birthday to me, part 2!

My birthday was 3 days ago and my birthday party was yesterday. My friends Olivia, Anna, Jackson, Clark, and Cameron came over to my house for my birthday party and they gave me lots of great presents. Braiden, my bud, was supposed to come too, but he was sick. I had a Winnie-the-Pooh party because he's my favorite. Mom and I made honey bees out of egg cartons and the plates, cake, and table cloth were all Winnie-the-Pooh! Thank you to everyone who made my birthday so special, especially Nana who is helping us while dad recovers from his boo boo.
