Well I have quite a bit of writing to do. It's been a few weeks since I've blogged and we've been busy during that time. First of all, we got a second dog. She belonged to a nurse at mom's work and was given to us! She's a beautiful two year old husky and is a very good dog. She came with the name of Chubbs but after some family voting we decided that we couldn't call out "Chubbs" with a straight face (as opposed to "Chewie"?) and we named her Kasha. It means buckwheat in Russian and since she's Siberian...anyhow, she is great with Chewie and with me.
Dad is taking her to obediance training so that mom doesn't get dragged down the street when walking everybody. And speaking of Chewie, he ruptured his ACL in the snow a few weeks ago and had it repaired 2 weeks ago. He's doing well and feels so good now that he can't understand why he can't join us on walks yet.

To think that Chewie has a spanking new and improved ACL and Nana Lynne is still hobbling around with only a not-so-good ACL in one knee and none in the other!
